President Joe Biden shared on Monday that he believes Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel is not taking enough action in order to secure a deal that would ensure hostages held captive by radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas be freed safe and sound. Mr. President, you’re antisemitism is showing. Again. Listen, you don’t have to agree with every move made by the Jewish state, but you have to acknowledge they’re our greatest ally in the region and against our shared enemies, those involved in radical Islamic terrorism. We need to find ways of supporting them that are appropriate and cost-effective.
This, of course, requires someone in a position of leadership that has all of their marbles still in the bag. A person with intelligence who understands geopolitics and has a flare for making deals. I think you get who I’m talking about.
via Daily Wire:
Biden made the critique as he returned to the White House from a two-week vacation in California and at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. The president said that negotiations for a deal to free over 100 hostages believed to be held by Hamas are “very close” to a deal. He added at “hope springs eternal” that a deal will be reached.
Q: Do you think Netanyahu is doing enough?

An Israeli official pushed back, suggesting that Biden should be applying pressure to Hamas to cut a deal and release the hostages instead of Israel. Israel has maintained that it cannot accept a deal that would foreclose the destruction of Hamas as an organization.
“It is puzzling that President Biden is pressing Prime Minister Netanyahu, who agreed to the U.S. proposal as early as May 31 and to the U.S. bridging proposal on August 16, and not Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who continues to vehemently refuse any deal,” the Israeli official went on to say about Biden’s comments. The official added that Biden’s remark “is especially dangerous when it is made just days after Hamas executed six Israeli hostages, including an American citizen.”

The president’s comments about Netanyahu come after a group of Israeli troops discovered the body of an Israeli-American, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who was captured by thee vile miscreants in Hamas following the October 7th attack last year. The soldiers revealed they found Goldberg-Polin’s body along with five other murdered hostages in a tunnel located beneath the southern Gaza city of Rafah over the weekend.
According to the report, the troops from Israel Defense Forces stated the hostages were killed just before their bodies were found. Which makes this whole incident even more tragic. If the timing had been just a little bit different, these individuals might still be alive.
Being their typical gruesome selves, Hamas posted a video of the six dead hostages in an attempt to apply more pressure on the Jewish state to come to a ceasefire deal, said Joe Truzman, a senior analyst for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
“Hamas published footage of the six Israeli captives who were murdered by the group in recent days. The propaganda video demonstrates that Hamas is attempting to exploit the current unrest in Israel in order to force a ceasefire deal on their terms,” Truzman wrote in a post on social media.

“Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris pressured Netanyahu and the Israeli government for months earlier this year to halt military operations in Rafah, where Goldberg-Polin and the other dead hostages were discovered and where Israeli forces have rescued at least nine other hostages from Hamas terrorists,” the Daily Wire stated in the article.
“We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake,” Harris remarked during an interview in March.
Back in May, President Biden stated during an interview on left-leaning news network CNN, “I made it clear that if they go into Rafah – they haven’t gone in Rafah yet – if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities – that deal with that problem.”
Just before the interview, the president’s administration canceled a weapons shipment to our allies in the Middle East that would have provided the Jewish state with 2,000 pound and 500-pound bombs.
