Ever since Vice President Kamala Harris stepped in as the Democratic Party presidential nominee for President Joe Biden, she’s ripped off a ton of policy positions from former President Donald Trump’s campaign platform. Apparently, in the world she calls home — which solely exists in the confines of her own mind — plagiarism does not exist. This has led to massive controversy for her own campaign as it represents several massive flip-flops on key left-wing policy positions.
And now her campaign is refusing to release what her “current position” is concerning the topic of reparations, leading to yet another round of well founded criticism and mockery. The backlash began with Philip Letsou, who works for the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Letsou published a post on X that featured a screenshot of left-leaning POLITICO’s “Playbook” newsletter.

via The Daily Wire:
The newsletter cited a Washington Post report about advocates hoping Harris would support any reparations for black people like she did during her first presidential campaign in the 2020 race. But as shown in the screenshot, POLITICO noted that, so far in the 2024 contest — with less than nine weeks until Election Day, “Her campaign isn’t commenting on her current position.” Critics piled on with jabs, with some poking fun at Harris for not releasing very many policy stances despite having led a White House campaign this election cycle for more than a month.
“No policy platform on her website and now just straight-up refusing to say where she stands on issues. Very normal behavior,” Abigail Jackson, who serves as the communications director for Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), went on to say in response to the nonsense.

“Is this a thing? We’re not commenting on our current position? If this is a thing, why hasn’t every candidate always done it?” BlazeTV podcast host Stu Burguiere went on to ask in his response.
Others brought attention to a CNN interview in which Harris repeatedly said her “values have not changed” when pressed about her flip-flopping on a number of policy issues. Former President Donald Trump‘s campaign shared a clip of Harris saying, “I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.”
The MAGA War Room’s X account got in on the action by saying that the vice president is keeping her lips zipped on reparations “because her position is dangerously liberal and wildly unpopular.”
But wait…there’s more:
Kamala is the most radically left-wing politician to ever be nominated by the major parties, and the media is letting her cruise to election on Vibes! and memes. https://t.co/bqNtsZUuyr

Matt Whitlock, a GOP commentator, stated in his post on X, “Media literally yesterday: “let’s get back to what the end of ‘brat Summer’ means for the Kamala Harris campaign.”
Yes, the liberal position on reparations is absolutely unpopular with the masses. And rightfully so. Why in the world should the descendants of folks who owned slaves pay a penalty for crimes they never committed? Our generation has never, ever “owned” a human being as a slave, nor would such a crime be tolerated. We’ve all grown since then as a society. It’s time to stop living in the past and move forward toward the future.
I thought that’s what “progressives” want? You know, “progress?”
