Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie ripped into New York Rep. Jerry Nadler’s extremely poor gun control argument, taking a verbal machete to that thing like he was hacking through a thicket in the South American rain forest. Leftists are consistently looking for ways to pass gun control laws in order to slap limitations on lawful citizens from owning firearms, despite the fact the Second Amendment guarantees each and every law-abiding individual the right to have a gun in order to protect their rights from the government as well as their life and property from criminals.
In reality, liberals know they can’t just make calls for guns to be completely, outright banned. We are a gun culture. Having a Glock or an AR-15 is as American as eating apple pie and watching baseball. So instead, the left takes full advantage of tragedies like mass shootings, especially the ones that take place in public schools, in order to justify making little changes here and there, hoping that one day, little by little, the Second Amendment will be rendered obsolete.

One of the biggest bits of malarkey — to use one of Biden’s favorite terms — Nadler spits out during the little talk he gives in the video is that the items he wants to see banned make it so that a handgun would be as dangerous as a machine gun. Folks, that’s what we in the real world call a lie. Fully automatic weapons are illegal in the United States. Nobody is allowed to use these things out on the street. If bad guys are using them, it’s because they are bad guys and getting their weapons illegally from the black market.
Massie is a master at providing concise, clear argumentation that can dismantle a liberal argument thoroughly. His criticisms of the kind of gun control Nadler wants to see implemented as law is a masterclass in how you handle the anti-gun crowd.
Here’s what X had to say about Massie’s takedown of Nadler’s talking points:
Nader is an absolute clown. He looks like a Gringotts goblin in real life and has the personality of tree bark.
This country needs more Rep. Thomas Massie and fewer Jerry Nadlers.
