Harris Faulkner, host for Fox News, interrupted a Democratic strategist who made the claim that former President Donald Trump canceling six events was the same thing as Vice President Kamala Harris opting to avoid attending the Al Smith Dinner. According to a new report from The Daily Caller, Harris decided to skip the event, which is a benefit for Catholic Charities, opting to create a video appearance alongside Molly Shannon, a former cast member of the very unfunny “Saturday Night Live,” who appeared as her Mary Katherine Callagher character.
Marshall brought up the cancellations after another individual appearing on the program, Kaylee McGhee White, noted that Trump had campaign events in Coachella, California, which she said demonstrated that the former president isn’t afraid to make appearances in front of crowds that are hostile toward him and his platform, which isn’t something Harris is known for doing.
“Did you just say that with a straight face?” Marshall went on to say, almost bursting into laughter at McGhee White. “She was just on this network with 7.1 million viewers, 4 million more than the former president. He has canceled six events. He has canceled six events and in addition to that –”
“All right, I have to step in there,” Faulkner stated, interrupting Marshall. “I have to. If you are talking about a rally, for instance, in Wisconsin, there are threats against his life.”
Funny how quickly anti-Trump people forget about all of the lunatics that are part of their movement that seemingly have it out for the 45th president, isn’t it?
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrested 49-year-old Vem Miller on gun charges Saturday at a checkpoint near the site where Trump held a rally at Coachella in California. Trump has survived three previous assassination attempts. A Secret Service agent thwarted an apparent assassination attempt on Trump by firing shots at Ryan Wesley Routh, who was allegedly lurking near Trump International Golf Club on Sept.15 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump was shot in the right ear while giving a speech at a July 13 campaign rally in Pennsylvania. During his 2016 presidential campaign, a 20-year-old man from the United Kingdom tried to take a police officer’s gun in order to shoot Trump during a June 2016 campaign event in Las Vegas.
“I was with him, my team, four hours before he was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania. We were at Mar-a-Lago for a sit-down interview,” Faulkner said to Marshall during the segment. “There are reasons why they have to sometimes. I don’t know all the list, but when it comes to a rally there is a very good reason why they would have to do that.”
Harris avoids doing events because she knows she’ll get called out and expected to be able to articulate herself and her platform, which it doesn’t appear she can do. Just watch the “60 Minutes” interview or the one recently done with Fox News anchor Bret Baier. Clearly, this woman does not have the intelligence to be serving as our next president. And it seems the American people are well aware of that.
