President-elect Donald Trump went off on NBC News host Kristen Welker for her blatant left-wing bias during their interview, going on to say that ultimately the journalist hurt herself “badly” by not approaching the conversation from a neutral position. This clearly demonstrates the left did not learn a thing from the epic beat down they received during the 2024 election. It’s this very bias that helped flip so much of the country from being blue to red. People want truth and objective reporting from the media, not propaganda.
According to a piece from The Daily Wire, Trump made his comments at two separate points during his conversation on “Meet The Press” that aired on Sunday. The first came when Welker tossed out several questions that were on the topic of the Democrat-led J-6 committee, going on to interrupt his answer several times.
“It’s amazing. I wish you could be a, you know, you have such potential,” Trump told Welker. “If you could be just non-biased. You hurt yourself so badly.”

This is a masterclass in how you handle hostile journalists. You don’t allow them to walk all over you and appear weak in the eyes of the viewing public. Instead, you confront them as politely as you can and point out their bias. It’s good for viewers to see Trump being strong and not taking any crap from the media, while also forcing the interviewer to assess internally whether or not there’s any truth to the criticism. Ultimately, if Welker’s mind is open, it could make her a much better journalist.
Later during the interview, Trump discussed his treatment by the press, saying, “…the press was obviously unfair to me, the press — no president has ever gotten treated by the press like I was. And yet I got more votes than any Republican candidate in history by far.”
“The press has to straighten itself out, because honestly it’s lost all credibility,” he added. “Based on the press I should’ve gotten no votes, none. And yet I got the highest number ever.”
At this point he tore into Welker, going on to say, “And the reason is because I’m able to go on a show even like yours, even though you’re very hostile, I’m able to go on a show like yours [Welker laughs] — no, you are. It’s fair only in that you allowed me to say what I say,” he added. “But you know the answers, the questions are, you know, pretty nasty.”
Trump rips NBC News’ Kristen Welker for being a “hostile” and “nasty” interviewer:

Ladies and gentlemen, the king is back.
Nobody knows how to put people in their place quite like the president-elect. We need more leaders at every level who have a backbone and are willing to confront the opposition. Patriots have allowed leftists to get away with this kind of stuff for far too long.
