When the news broke last Friday that President Donald Trump’s inauguration would be moved indoors to the Capitol Rotunda because of inclement weather, failed Democratic vice presidential candidate and governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, couldn’t resist an opportunity to try and razz Trump over it. This, in hindsight, ended up being an incredibly bad idea.
A report from The Western Journal revealed that Walz posted a photograph of himself speaking at a podium while snow fell all around him, seeming to say that he was more of a man for speaking outdoors in the freezing cold than the commander-in-chief who he is signaling is a wuss for going inside. His caption for the photo only made things worse as he said, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.”

The implication was clear: Walz wanted to tell his followers that, unlike Trump, bad weather does not keep him indoors. He can handle whatever Mother Nature throws his way. The president-elect’s supporters responded strongly, reminding Walz that he and Harris weren’t the ones those accommodations were being made for come Monday.

Cope harder pal. The voters soundly rejected you and you barely won your home state cementing you as one of the worst VP pics in modern history.

What time is your inauguration at again? https://t.co/YMV9zxIPLu

How did Walz anticipate this photo and its comment would be received? Nobody for a second believes the governor is a “man’s man.” Heck, the rumor going around while he was campaigning with former Vice President Kamala Harris was that he was gay. Let that sink in for a minute. The guy is so effeminate and weak that many believed he was a homosexual. And we’re supposed to buy into this fake tough talk? I don’t think so.
After Democrats lost the popular vote along with the electoral college, Walz and Harris were indeed soundly rejected. Walz’s post looked pretty short-sighted, as his attempt to get one over on Trump seems to have completely backfired. Gloating that you can stand out in the snow isn’t going to win over anyone when the memory of your strange debate performance, stolen valor, and praises of socialism still loom large over your political career.
It seems Walz has forgotten that Trump took a bullet to his ear, got up, and defiantly threw his fist in the air and chanted, “fight, fight, fight!” to the crowd. Now that’s a tough dude. He was almost murdered on stage in front of a large group of supporters, and yet, he didn’t let it phase him at all. He got even stronger. That’s masculinity.
“The defeated party’s gripes now seem irrelevant. The votes are in. The terrible campaign that was Harris/Walz 2024 was rightly defeated,” the Western Journal reported.
Yes, it’s time for us all to move on now. We need to get busy about the work of restoring this country to its former glory.
