President Joe Biden has to be one of the most delusional human beings currently six feet above ground. The proof is the farewell letter he penned to America, just days before the end of his term as president, in which he says he made the country “stronger” and, I kid you not, “more prosperous.” Somehow, Biden has discovered the secret to being able to jump between alternate realities because he’s certainly not been living in this one.
In the letter, Biden stated that it was the “privilege” of his life to serve as the commander-in-chief, which is a sentiment definitely not shared among the vast majority of the country. We were crushed economically, stomped on by an oppressive Justice Department, overrun by illegal immigrants who spiked the crime rate in major cities, and almost pulled into World War III. Not a good look, sir.
A report from The Daily Wire said that the president will be giving a goodbye address from the Oval Office on Wednesday evening. A “fact sheet” that came along with the letter shows Biden taking full credit for, and I’m warning you, this is infuriating, “securing the border,” “lowering costs,” and helping to fund climate change programs while financially propping up Ukraine.
Essentially, he’s bragging about doing the very things that people wanted him out of office for. Oh and, of course, he’s lying through his dentures about securing the border.
“Four years ago, we stood in a winter of peril and a winter of possibilities. We were in the grip of the worst pandemic in a century, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, and the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” Biden says in the letter. “But we came together as Americans, and we braved through it. We emerged stronger, more prosperous, and more secure.”
We have become the exact opposite of all those things over the last four years. Is he really attempting to gaslight us on his way out the door?
“Today, we have the strongest economy in the world and have created a record 16.6 million new jobs. Wages are up. Inflation continues to come down,” he goes on to say. “The racial wealth gap is the lowest it’s been in 20 years. We’re rebuilding our entire nation—urban, suburban, rural, and Tribal communities. Manufacturing is coming back to America. We’re leading the world again in science and innovation, including the semiconductor industry.”
In the letter, Biden highlighted several pieces of legislation signed during his tenure, including the “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act,” which was the most expansive gun control law passed in decades. He also touted his signing of the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” which allotted nearly $1 trillion for environmental spending.
“I ran for president because I believed that the soul of America was at stake. The very nature of who we are was at stake,” Biden remarked in his farewell letter. “And, that’s still the case. America is an idea stronger than any army and larger than any ocean. It’s the most powerful idea in the history of the world.”
He closed it out by stating that “there is simply nothing beyond our capacity when we do it together.”
Can you believe this guy?
January 20 just cannot get here fast enough.
