It seems that a large number of Joe Biden voters are suffering from a political case of buyer’s remorse after dealing with three years of horrific economic policies and a southern border left wide open for anyone and everyone to just waltz into the country. In fact, they regret pulling the lever for Biden so badly they have decided that this time around, they’re casting a ballot for former President Donald Trump, according to a New York Times report released on Friday.
via The Daily Caller:
The NYT/Siena College survey released on Monday across Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania found that 14% of those who said they backed Biden in 2020 won’t do so this cycle. The outlet spoke with some of the Biden defectors included in the poll, with some planning to vote for Trump despite qualms with his personality.
Frederick Westbrook, a retired hotel worker in Las Vegas, told the NYT that voting for Biden last cycle was “the biggest mistake of my life.” The retiree added that while he still believes Trump has “a big mouth” and is “not a nice person,” his financial situation has made him consider backing the former president.
“Everything is just about the economy,” Westbrook stated. “I don’t really trust Donald Trump at all. I just think housing, food, my car, my insurance, every single piece of living has gone up.”
Amelia Earwood, a 47-year-old safety trainer at the U.S. Postal Service, was also critical of Trump, but said she’s “voting on his policies, and I think that he could straighten this country out, while Biden made a ginormous mess out of it.”
The resident of Georgia went on to cite illegal immigration, inflation, and the delay of sending weapons to Israel as her reason for being unhappy with Biden and his administration. As you can clearly see, the biggest two concerns for people are the economy and the fact our southern border is under siege by thousands of illegal migrants every day.
Virginia Faris of Wisconsin told the outlet she believes “Biden’s policies of overspending and printing money” are attributable for her children’s financial struggles. The 54-year-old plans to vote for Trump.

Jaredd Johnson, 25, works in marketing and revealed that while he has some reservations about Trump, he’ll be supporting him at the polls come November. We’re seeing a whole lot of that, aren’t we? Biden has no one to blame for all of this but himself and his party.
“Our conversations are suddenly less about what’s happening overseas and more about how we are struggling here, too,” Johnson commented.
“Christopher Sheffield, a 61-year-old counselor for veterans in Georgia, will similarly back Trump due to the conflict overseas, according to the outlet. Sheffield told the outlet that Trump’s stance on race is concerning, he plans to vote for him,” the Daily Caller reported.
“When I look at [Biden], he looks weak,” Sheffield remarked to the NYT. “With North Korea, Putin, and all those boys ready to act, I think they will be a little bit more reluctant to challenge Trump than they would with Biden.”
The survey from the NY Times also discovered that Trump is taking Biden to the woodshed in all of the swing states except for Michigan, where the president is ahead by a single point. Trump was found to be ahead of Biden by 13 points in Nevada, 9 points in Georgia, six points in Arizona, three points in Pennsylvania, and one point in Wisconsin.
This just goes to show you that Americans are not nearly as dedicated to a party as they are to their own well being. It’s become painfully obvious for many that Biden is a disaster who has done severe damage to the country. Trump is the antidote to the Democratic Party’s poison that is killing America.
