If you happen to be former President Donald Trump or one of his many supporters, today is a rather good day, thanks to the Supreme Court — the highest in the land by the way — handing out a massive victory concerning presidential immunity. If you’re like me, you probably didn’t think the day could possibly get any better, the victory any sweeter, along comes Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, throwing an absolute fit over the ruling.
The tears of the left are so delicious. Nothing aside from kittens, puppies, and babies can alleviate the blues quite like seeing liberals in throes of defeat. Good medicine for the soul.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) blasted what he called the “MAGA SCOTUS” on Monday after the U.S. Supreme Court found in favor of former President Donald Trump in his challenge to January 6th prosecutors.
Trump faces charges in Washington, D.C., brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith relating to his conduct on January 6, 2021, when rioters stormed the Capitol. He argued that he is immune from prosecution for his official acts.
As Breitbart News reported, the Court found that presidents have absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for official acts, but not from unofficial acts, and remanded the case back to the trial court to determine the difference.
Schumer took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express his displeasure with the 6-3 decision, which was led by right-leaning Chief Justice John Roberts.
This disgraceful decision by the MAGA SCOTUS—which is comprised of 3 justices appointed by Trump himself—enables the former President to weaken our democracy by breaking the law.

Schumer has a history of trying to intimidate the Supreme Court justices, notably in 2020, when he threatened two newly-appointed justices that they would “pay the price” if they dared to overturn Roe v. Wade, which they later did.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) threatened Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh on Wednesday. He declared during a pro-choice demonstration on the Supreme Court steps: “You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.”
The case is Trump v. United States, No. 23-939 in the Supreme Court of the United States.
Only a pathetic, weak punk would dare to threaten others for not ruling in favor of their political ideology. What these justices did was not side with conservatives, but with the Constitution. They are primarily originalists, interpreting the Constitution according to the original intent of its authors and the context it was written in culturally speaking. And that’s proper exegetical work when dealing with older pieces like our Constitution.
The original meaning is what it should be interpreted as meaning today as well. Principles contained in the Constitution are designed to be timeless. And this bugs the crap out of liberals who view our founding document as a “living document” that they believe needs to change with the times. Nothing is ever set in concrete for the liberals. It’s subjective for them, not objective.
What really makes this such good news is that it essentially sinks Special Counsel Jack Smith’s battleship concerning the January 6th case against Trump. There are a lot more implications for this ruling to come in the near future, which could spell disaster for the Democrats.
