Soon-to-be border czar for the incoming Trump administration, Tom Homan, absolutely went full samurai on Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York, slicing her up with words sharp as katana blades following the horrific murder of a woman in the subway on Sunday after an illegal migrant allegedly lit her on fire. I honestly can’t imagine a worse way to die. And guaranteed, if our immigration laws and processes had been followed, this monster would not have snuffed out an innocent life. The time for niceties is over. We’re back, baby, and it’s time to take out the garbage.
Check out further details from The Daily Caller:
Sebastin Zapeta, a 33-year-old Guatemalan illegal immigrant previously deported by the Trump administration, was arrested Sunday by the New York Police Department in connection with the incident, Fox News reported. Homan ripped Hochul, who touted the subway’s safety after the killing, about the incident.
“This is another example of an illegal alien killing American citizen. It’s almost a daily occurrence now. You know, because [a] historic number of criminal aliens [are] walking the streets because of this administration’s policy and sanctuary jurisdictions and lax immigration enforcement,” Homan went on to say to “Fox and Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade. “ICE has their hands tied. Secretary Mayorkas have given them priorities that they can’t even go arrest illegal alien anymore unless is he convicted, convicted, of a serious crime then maybe they can arrest him. So this is on this administration.”
“As far as Governor Hochul, shame on her. She supports sanctuary status in that state. She welcomed thousands of illegal aliens to her state,” Homan sliced and diced the NY governor. “She sent them to Buffalo and Syracuse. Murders occurred by illegal aliens in Buffalo and Syracuse. She had the green light law. ICE and CBP can’t even work with local law enforcement. Local law enforcement can’t share DMV data with these people. Governor Hochul, shame on you, there is nothing can you say that’s going to make this right in New York.”
President-elect Donald Trump announced Homan, a former acting director of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, would serve as “border czar” on Nov. 11. During the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump highlighted a series of crimes involving illegal immigrants, including the murders of Rachel Morin, Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray and the struggles experienced by the city of Springfield, Ohio, after an influx of over 20,000 Haitian migrants.
“Sebastian Zapeta-Calil, 33, is an unlawfully present Guatemalan citizen who entered the United States without admission by an immigration official,” ICE spokesperson Jeff Carter said in comments given to the Daily Caller News Foundation. “U.S. Border Patrol in Sonoita, Arizona, encountered Zapeta June 1, 2018, and served him with an order of expedited removal and Enforcement and Removal Operations removed Zapeta from the U.S. to Guatemala June 7, 2018.”
Homan then took an opportunity to throw a devastating verbal punch at Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas, accusing the impeached cabinet member of doing nothing but lying through his teeth during an interview with CBS, before going on to shine a light on the number of kids the Biden administration has allegedly lost track of.
“Under his guidance, under his leadership, first of all, it’s his policies that caused over half a million children being smuggled in this country, trafficked in this country and they – they lost track of 340,000 of them,” Homan continued his brutal assault on the very deserving Biden White House. “When his lips are moving, is he lying and he needs to be held accountable. Nothing he said in that interview was truthful.”
There are at least 85,000 kids who have been placed into the custody of the Office of Refugee Resettlement that are currently unaccounted for, according to a report that came out in February 2023 in the New York Times.
According to figures revealed by the Border Patrol, a staggering 7.4 million plus illegal immigrants have come into the country without legal permission since 2021.
