The propagandists working in leftist media outlets, like Reuters for example, are already seizing opportunities to slam Trump supporters following the guilty verdict in former President Donald Trump’s alleged “hush money” trial, stating that those who are big fans of his are super mad about how things shook out and are calling for “riots” and “violent retribution.” Trump was convicted on a total of 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with an alleged monetary payment to former pornstar Stormy Daniels concerning an alleged affair the two had prior to the 2016 presidential election.
According to Breitbart, the headline Reuters used to report on the matter said, “Trump supporters call for riots and violent retribution after verdict.” And just where did these ace reporters find such information? How about a couple of random comments left on “Truth Social Platform, Patriots.Win, and The Gateway Pundit.”
This proves the point I’ve been trying to make for a long time concerning these indictments and trials Trump is being put through. It’s not just about sticking it to the former president and preventing him from winning the election in November. It’s also about creating false narratives to make his followers, those interested in preserving our republic and our Constitution, as domestic terrorists. The first piece in that puzzle was Jan. 6, 2021.
And now the left is just itching for the next incident they can use as evidence to support their narrative.
Reuters said:
After Trump became the first U.S. president to be convicted of a crime, his supporters responded with dozens of violent online posts, according to a Reuters review of comments on three Trump-aligned websites: the former president’s own Truth Social platform, Patriots.Win and the Gateway Pundit.
…While the posts identified by Reuters all called for violence or insurrection, most fell short of the legal standard for a prosecutable threat, which typically requires evidence that the comment reflects a clear intent to act or instill fear, rather than simply suggesting a frightening outcome.
Still, one researcher who studies extremist militias said the guilty verdict could inspire violence by reinforcing a conviction among some of Trump’s supporters that he’s a victim of a conspiracy orchestrated by his enemies.
The news outlet didn’t actually take the time to investigate to determine whether or not the comments in question were made by actual supporters of the former president. They also neglected to quote what real, genuine Trump supporters were saying in public, or what elected officials backing him had to say about the situation.
What they have actually been doing is encouraging one another to donate to Trump’s presidential campaign and to make sure this November to cast a ballot in favor of the former president as a form of protest against the weaponization of the legal system here in the U.S.
A number of individuals who were upset about the verdict hoisted upside-down American flags, which is a symbol for our nation being in distress. I’d say that’s a fitting description of where we are right now, wouldn’t you?
