Former Fox News anchor and current podcast host Megyn Kelly joined millions of Americans in being livid and completely disgusted with the clear bias of ABC News moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis during the first presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. So much so, in fact, that she dedicated an entire monologue to the topic on Wednesday. During this scathing tongue lashing, Kelly shined the spotlight on Disney executive Dana Walden, who is in charge of ABC News. As it turns out, Walden is a very close personal friend of Harris.
We in the business refer to this sort of thing as a “conflict of interest.” Nobody is going to grill their best buddy during a debate on the network they oversee. Seems fairly obvious that Muir and Davis received their marching orders from higher up the food chain and like good little worker bees, followed them to the letter. It was probably a pleasure for them to do so, as liberal journalists hate Trump with a passion.
Kelly went on to say that Walden is helping Democrats in their efforts to “steal this election. They’re openly working to sink him,” according to Breitbart.
Megyn Kelly’s post-debate roundup focused in part on Disney executive Dana Walden, who serves as co-chairman of Disney Entertainment where she runs numerous TV properties including ABC News.
“I’m ashamed of those moderators at ABC News. They did exactly what their bosses wanted them to do. The person who runs ABC News is a close personal friend of Kamala Harris, that is responsible for Kamala Harris and her husband meeting,” Kelly stated during her program. “They did Dana Walden’s bidding tonight. It was three against one on that debate stage.”
“It was a mistake to trust ABC News with this debate,” she added. “Those two moderators tried to sink Donald Trump tonight. They’re trying to steal this election. They’re openly working to sink him. It was so bad … Their bias against him and toward her, it’s going to backfire.”
What really bakes my noodle is that these moderators didn’t think that we, the viewers, were smart enough to pick up on the bias. Either that or they simply don’t care. If the latter is true, it means propagandists in the mainstream media are now willing to just shove the progressive agenda right into our brains, whether we want it or not. If it’s the former, they’re insulting over more than half this country.

As Breitbart News reported, Dana Walden’s leadership of ABC News has come under intense scrutiny over her conflict of interest with Kamala Harris. Walden has donated to Harris numerous times throughout her political career. She has hosted Harris fundraisers at her home in Los Angeles. Last year, she reportedly donated $20,000 to support President Biden and the Democratic Party. Most glaringly, Walden remains close friends with Kamala Harris and her husband, entertainment lawyer Doug Emhoff. Harris once credited Dana Walden and her husband, Matt, for her marriage during a 2022 fundraiser.
On Tuesday, ABC News moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis repeatedly fact-checked Trump live on-air while giving Harris a free pass to rattle off a number of easily disprovable lies without interruption, including the Charlottesville hoax. They also failed to press Kamala Harris with follow-up questions as they did with Trump.
During the Trump administration, the news network aired what turned out to be a false report claiming Donald Trump directed Michel Flynn to make contact with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential campaign. In reality, Trump made that order as President-elect, thus establishing international relations during his transition into the White House.
The network then gave longtime correspondent Bob Ross — not the relaxing painter guy — a boot to the curb and retracted the report. Davis once attempted to connect Trump to the KKK, despite the fact the former president has never, ever been affiliated with the organization.
