The leader of a popular and highly influential “social justice” organization that published an essay calling for the “decriminalization” of radical Islamic terrorist group Hamas, as well as making demands to defund law enforcement departments and getting rid of immigration agencies, came to the White House for several visits earlier in the year. We knew President Joe Biden and the folks within the administration kept questionable company, but this takes the cake.
Listen, before we take a dive into this, I feel it’s important to note that you can be against radical Islamic terrorism like the kind carried out by Hamas while not necessarily agreeing with every call Israel makes in the conflict they have with them. You can also support Israel as an ally while also calling for more strides toward peace to be made. What I’m essentially getting at is we don’t have to absolutely hate Israel, nor do we have to support their every move, in order to condemn Hamas.
Here’s more on this via Fox News:
Joyce Ajlouny, listed as the general secretary of American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), is shown on official logs visiting the White House twice in March 2024 for a total of three meetings with members of the Biden administration. Ajlouny and a delegation of religious leaders “met with Biden administration staff from the National Security Council, the Domestic Policy Council, and the Office of Public Engagement to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza,” according to a statement issued by Ajlouny at the time in a press release.
“I joined with people representing many different churches and denominations to call for an immediate and permanent cease-fire and full access for humanitarian aid,” she added. “The Biden Administration has the power to make this happen.”
The organization Ajlouny is part of has been favorable toward a number of radical left-wing causes, including an essay that was written by Jonathan Kuttab who refers to himself as a “Palestinian human rights lawyer,” that’s called “Decriminalizing Hamas.”
In the paper, Kuttab wants to see an “end to the demonization of Hamas, bring into the political process and begin the long road to peace and freedom,” according to a piece from the Washington Free Beacon. In Kuttab’s twisted grey matter locked away in his vile brain basket, Hamas engaging in horrendous violent acts of murder and rape is just part of their strategy for gaining their own land. He apparently thinks such behavior is perfectly acceptable as long as you’re an Islamist. That line of thinking squares away with the ideology and practice of Islam throughout history, so it’s no wonder Kuttab wants to see terrorism legitimized. It’s what his people have been doing since the religion was founded.
AFSC, a self-described “Quaker org” based in Philadelphia, has been a fierce critic of Israel, blaming it as the “root cause” of the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel last October. At the height of the George Floyd riots in 2020, the group also posted a call to defund the police.
“In the wake of ongoing police killings of Black people, AFSC joins a growing number of groups calling on cities and states to invest money in schools, health care, and transformative justice approaches, rather than funding the police,” the post went on to say.
In another post shared by the group, which is titled, “A Quaker call to defund the police,” the essay says, “Defunding the police is a demand from the Black Lives Matter movement.”
“At this point we need to follow and support the calls and demands from the Black people and grassroots organizations offering profound leadership,” the essay stated. “It is not for us to mute or critique the demands that Black folks are making right now.”
AFSC made numerous calls for the abolishment of ICE and other border patrol agencies along with the defunding of police on their social media accounts as well.
