The assassination attempt on the life of former President Donald Trump was a huge moment in American history. It will no doubt go down in history books and be taught in classrooms — well, that’s kind of up in the air given how much control progressives have over the education system and their love of revising history to match their fake narratives — all over the country. Many recognize just how profound that moment in history was and are looking to preserve that moment in anyway they can.
Like trying to purchase the hat Trump wore during the shooting. And boy are folks willing to pay handsomely for that piece of memorabilia.
Here’s more from Marca:
Trump is known for wearing red caps during his rallies and this one in Pennsylvania was no different. As the bullet from Thomas Crooks’ gun whistled by the side of Trump‘s head, he was wearing his red Republican Party hat.
That is exactly what the Paul brothers were fighting over, financially at least.
Jake Paul has often been supportive of Trump and his politics publicly and he was very quick to criticize the lack of security at the event in Pennsylvania, and jobs have been lost since it happened on July 13. Despite the bidding, while appearing in Logan’s popular ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, the brothers seemingly settled on paying 12 million dollars together for the red ‘MAGA’ hat.
Paul was talking about his plans for an upcoming visit to Nashville and meeting Trump was on the list. Paul’s plan to meet Trump caught Logan’s attention as he said, “2 million dollars for the hat he was wearing for the attempted assassination.”
Jake went on to admit that he would pay $3 million for the hat. And that comment launched the bidding war that featured the brothers going back-and-forth, one-upping each other.
As the conversation drew to a close, Jake Paul brought the whole thing to an end by saying, “I legitimately would pay… with the current money I have now, I would pay 12 million dollars.” This prompted his older brother to suggest, “Let’s go halfsies on it.”

This is what young people raised in this generation of influencers do when they are given millions of dollars. A bunch of rich kids toss around money to buy historic memorabilia while others are struggling to make ends meet, living-paycheck-to-paycheck and are worried how they are going to feed their families. It tells you a lot about the times we are living in, doesn’t it?
And that’s not to say this hat isn’t an important piece of history now. It most certainly is. There’s a lot that happened on July 13 in the moment Trump was shot. A tonal shift seemed to happen in American politics, though I believe there’s an expiration date on it, which seems to have already come and gone.
What’s fortunate for our nation is that Trump survived the shooting. Had he not, I believe we would be locked in a civil war style conflict. And that is not something we can afford.
