Following the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs to get rid of the treatment of abortion as a fundamental right and to instead return the issue to the states, letting them protect it if they want or get rid of it if they want, Democrats went absolutely wild, crazily proclaiming that they had to “rise up” to fight for abortion. Apparently the right to kill babies is, to them, a right worth dying for.

And so they started taking to the streets, flinging Molotov cocktails and fireworks at cops while blocking roads and hassling normal people that just wanted to get to work or get home from work.

But things soon escalated, with Congressional Democrats sensing an opportunity to capitalize on anger against the Supreme Court by appearing alongside the riotous Antifa thugs.

To enable that and focus media coverage on the “outrage” over the Supreme Court’s wiping away of Roe, Casey, and the rest of the current abortion regime, Nancy Pelosi decided to cancel the January 6th insurrection hearings, telling Democrats to instead “peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard at the Supreme Court.”

Many took her up on that, but instead of being “peaceful” they were only “mostly peaceful” and so set the Supreme Court and a food truck near it on fire, burning out those with whom they disagreed while storming nearby government buildings, throwing bottles, rocks, and fireworks at police, and otherwise doing far worse things than what the MAGA protesters have been accused of doing on the January 6th “insurrection.”

Pelosi, attacking such comparisons after the riots had calmed down and the fire was put out, said:

Well, first off, the idea that my telling people to ‘peacefully and patriotically make their voices heard’ is way different than Trump saying the exact same thing because…well I actually meant ‘peacefully’ and I think that he did not.

“And, anyway, the two situations are very different. What the GOP maniacs were rioting over on January 6th was a Big Lie, something so horrible and false that no one should be forgiven for pushing it. What Americans of every political strip were mostly peacefully protesting today was the demolishment of a fundamental right, of something they have been able to do for decades and hold very near and dear to their hearts. Heck, like drag queens, abortion is what America is all about! We can’t just let it fade away!

Liz Cheney demurred when asked if she’d look into Pelosi in the same way that she has persecuted Trump, though she did say that the day’s events would not dissuade her from “vigorously investigating Trump’s January 6th behavior” and ensuring that he was held accountable.

Trump, responding on Truth Social, simply posted a picture of her face photoshopped onto a rhinoceros with the caption “WHAT A RINO LOSER!”
