NOTE: The following article is satire, not a statement of fact. Treat it as such.
Why does the left love illegal immigration so much? Because, even if the illegals can never vote, or at least are not supposed to do so, their kids can once they are 18, thanks to America’s birth citizenship. So, by importing a few million people a year that have a few million kids a year, a large base of Democrat voters is built up.
That issue is already reaching a head thanks to the increasing number of illegal immigrants and children of illegal immigrants present in the country, not to mention the masses of legal immigrants, but the Biden Administration is apparently not content to wait it out and is instead trying to give amnesty to the 60 million or so illegal immigrants already within our borders.
Such is what KJP announced in a short statement that was shocking even for the Biden Administration. Ostensibly speaking about “legal pathways” to citizenship for those who want to move here, she said:
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Homeland Security Advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall today hosted over 70 representatives from foreign governments, private companies, civil society, and international and community organizations at the White House to discuss how we can work together to further expand lawful pathways and offer an alternative to the smugglers who prey on vulnerable migrants.
National Security Advisor Sullivan and Homeland Security Advisor Sherwood-Randall provided an overview of the progress already made under the new Safe Mobility Office Initiative, which the United States launched with Canada, Spain, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Colombia earlier this year. The SMO Initiative includes both physical locations and a digital portal to process and refer migrants to available legal pathways to the United States and other participating countries. They also discussed ways the administration can continue to partner with the private sector and other organizations to build out the initiative to its full potential.
Today’s event is just one of the many ways the Biden-Harris administration is engaging with regional partners, international organizations, and the private sector under the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection to respond the historic migration challenge in the Western Hemisphere.
Then she got to the shocking bit, saying, “And, look, what we have to do is be fair. And it would not be fair to let those who have not had a change to immigrate into the United States yet a step up over those who are, umm, who have already moved here, sometimes without documentation or permission.”
“So, alongside this effort to provide legal pathways for future immigrants, we in the Biden Administration want it known that we are also looking for ways to provide amnesty and citizenship to the undocumented migrants already here; given the scope of that, however, it will take some time for us to work out the details. But it is an issue that we are working on with all due haste.”
